Last week I bought a DVD from Ringing Cedars
The DVD player has broken down and my Laptop decided that I wasn't meant to see it then. Today I went down and bought a new DVD player from the local Argos Mail Order shop. I then came home and played it.

My elder brother, Group Captain Keith Thurman AFZ (Ret'd) (71) died on Saturday, 28th March 2009 in Harari, Zimbabwe at the home of his daughter after a long battle with cancer. A Memorial Service was held at 69 Piers Road, Borrowdale, on Thursday 2 April, 2009. The full obituary is on my Blog.

I was browsing a Forum, looking at the G20 fiasco in London and my attention was drawn to articles in the Mail and Guardian. (Actually the papers referred to were the Daily Mail and the Guardian.) During 1968 I met a lady from Shetland who was a dear old friend of my mothers and who knew her from the 1920's. They remained dear friends from that time and exchanged regular letters.
