I had kids from Belize in my Headstart class, in Chicago. It seemed that it must be a very wonderful place. It was not easy for them to get used to living in the U.S. The children were named Oliver, Debra, and Bunny.
I happened upon your page from MySpace, which I am now trying to figure out.
You seem like a really nice person!
Just getting over here to start meeting everyone :)
Thought I'd tell you that Rob shared your blog with me last week and the kids and I really really enjoyed your fair pictures. We lived in Missoula for about 6 years with our oldest and I miss that earthy, creative energy - grin.
Hi there, Barbara dear. Thank you for joining and for the videos and photos.

About Me
I live in the Cascade Mountains, east of Portland, Oregon, with my husband, Kraig and our four good dogs~!
Our home provides us with lots of clear clean water and fresh air. There are peaceful unspoiled wilderness areas nearby. We have enough space for a big garden, a greenhouse, a small orchard and several types of grapes and berries, so we are content, and we know we are blessed.
Unfortunatly we can't change the dark, wet Oregon winters.
We have been adventuring in Belize, and investigating that country with the thought that we might like to retire there, or at least join in a Belizian community where we can feel at home, and garden, during the winter months. We love The Cayo and Toledo District.
We met Rob, on a Relocation Tour in 2007, and have felt it a priviledge to call him our friend, ever since~! We hope to see all of you in Belize~!
Belize: Volunteers are needed with organic gardening/sustainable agriculture skills to work on the GATE gardens project at rural primary schools. The ability to work cooperatively and communicate basic gardening and environmental concepts to students is key. This is a three month minimum position.
